Field shifts typically involve intense hiking in remote areas of tropical dry forest for ~7–8 hours each field day. Weekends are free, except for a dusk search for monkeys on Sundays. Data cleaning and sample processing days will typically be one additional day a week at the field station (Monday – Friday).
